Walter a few questions for you to see how I can best help you.

How long has the site been up?

Where have you been advertising at now if anywhere?

How many sales do you get monthly? If any?

I already see some website issues but before going there tell us more of what you have already done.

Thank you

The site has been up since the beginging of March of last year.
I have not done any advertizing cause franklly i am not sure whre to advertise or how much i should advertivze. one thing i am doing all of this on a SSDI pension so i dont have alot of money to invest without some quidance and help. I live on 1,010.00 a month hrere. i am doin this to create some badly needed extra income. Have only sold 2 quilts and 2 xmas stockings.

with the web site i relize that there are problems but ATT had me use there templet.

Walter

I dont owe any one any money and dont have a load to work from so all the inventory is mine and i own all of it.

Walter,

I think your web page looks fine. I would focus a little time on your facebook page and get more involved in it. The i would try to interact with simmilar business and see what they are doing. I saw a nice facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/internationalquiltassociation that you may want to look to for ideas.

Walter, understand where you are at now. Since your work is custom have you though of first is ebay?

You can set up an ebay store and offer custom made quilts. Maybe have it with there name in it or if you can get the material their favorite sports team etc.

Offer special designs months in advance for certain holidays. Fourth of July is soon so maybe some USA themed quilts.

If you cant do that then surround yourself around quilting forums. These are GREAT palces to hang around others like you and at the same time advertise your work. Even if they are doing the same thing as you, if you are better, faster & cheaper hell they may outsource work to you!

You got to think like your customer. If your customer is of older age then advertise in areas where they will be. Yarn stores have many craft boutiques that advertise. Go to there websites and see if they have blogs. Post on there blogs and get friendly with soe and write guest blog post that explain how to do certain things and you will come off as an expert in this craft field.

hope this helps a bit but no matter what you cant stop!!!!

Walter,
Have you given any thought to making them a keepsake? By that I mean targeting new moms or grandparents to purchase your quilts as gifts for babies.

Just a thought, babies are a $Billion dollar industry.

"Lead generation is the process through which the promise that lives at the heart of the enterprise is made, repeatdly, nonstop, to those for whom the promise was created, your most probable consumer."

Lead generation is a nonstop endeavor. When lead generation stops, so does the company. To start the lead generation engine is earnest, and to make certain that you have the determination to keep it running full-time. It is the function of a business to continualy attract people to it. And to never stop.

The truth in these words is that the way one chooses to convey a message―the vehicle, the medium, the channel of communication―is an important and has as much impact on how the message is received, as the actual content of the message it self. To have this kind of impact on your potenial customers. You just have to know which lead genearion channels speak as eloquently and persuasively to your target market.

I would suggest that you build a niche content website.Over time you will generate free targeted traffic to your site because you will become searchable for hundreds or even thousands of keywords related to your niche. For every content page you build write and submit an article to the article directories. This helps to improve your page rank because of the back links but also will help to establish your expert status over time.
Find forums or groups associated with your niche and participate actively.
